To participate you must :
To be fully aware of the length and specificity of the test, and to be perfectly prepared for it.
To have acquired, prior to the race, a real capacity for personal autonomy enabling them to manage the problems inherent in this type of event, and in particular :
Be able to cope with difficult climatic conditions (heat, humidity, strong sunlight) without outside help.
Know how to tackle mountainous and technical terrain.
Know how to manage physical or mental problems resulting from fatigue, digestive problems, muscular or joint pain, minor injuries...
To be fully aware that the role of the organization is not to help a rider deal with these "little problems".
To be fully aware that for such an outdoor activity, safety depends on the rider's ability to adapt to encountered or foreseeable problems.
A medical certificate less than 1 year old attesting to the competitor's fitness to take part in an ultra-trail is required. It must be sent to the organization no later than one month before the start.
RULES :
Article 1: Organization
Cy & Sy Aventures is organizing the Voie Lycienne Ultra Trail, which will take place from June 7 to 15, 2024 in Turkey. In case of dispute, Swiss law is applicable.
Article 2: Participation
Any person over the age of majority may participate under his/her own responsibility. The participant must assess his/her aptitude for the event. However, the organizers reserve the right to prohibit the start or interrupt the race of any participant whose attitude, physical or mental state is incompatible with the pursuit of the effort. Any participant registered for the race who has to take a place in an organization vehicle during the race (due to fatigue, orientation problems, etc.) will be disqualified from the race, but will be allowed to continue outside the rankings with the agreement of the organization.

A compulsory equipment check will take place on Saturday June 08, 2024. Any participant failing to pass the check will be refused the start.

Gaiters for rocky terrain
Each participant's personal equipment will be transported from the start to the finish of the stages. A maximum of one 15kg bag per person. During the race, the rider must carry only the mandatory equipment.
Article 4: Time barrier
Race formula: maximum time for each stage: 12h
Discovery formula: no time barrier, but continuation of the stage will be at the discretion of the race director and medical staff.
The race may be neutralized at any time or its course modified if the organizers deem it necessary for the safety of participants.
Article 5: Orientation
The race is signposted. The use of a GPS is recommended but not essential. For obvious safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to deviate from the marked course.
Article 6: Check Points (CP)
Two Check-Points will line the course, regardless of the length of the stage. They will provide competitors with cold water and fruit only. Each competitor must leave the CPs with at least 2 liters of water.
Article 7: Withdrawal
In the event of withdrawal, the competitor must notify race HQ or the nearest CP. He/she will remain self-sufficient until repatriated.
Article 8: Medical team
Each participant must be able to treat minor problems (blisters, tendonitis, gastro-intestinal problems) on his or her own. A doctor and two anaesthetic nurses will be on hand to deal with more serious problems.
Article 9: Insurance
Each participant undertakes in full knowledge of the health, medical and political risks that such a race may entail. Cy & Sy Aventures declines all responsibility in the event of physical or psychological failure, accidents, or political unrest during the race or its transfer.
Art. 100 para. 1 of the Swiss Code of Obligations (SR 220) is reserved.
Participants must take out individual repatriation insurance.
Article 10: Cancellation
Cancellation requests must be sent to the organization by registered letter.
Before May 1, 2024 cancellation fee of 100 euros
Before May 15, 2024 cancellation fee of 890 euros
After May 15, 2024 cancellation fee of 1990 euros
