Since 2017, flights have resumed between France and the Mauritanian desert. After years of absence, its superb cultural heritage is once again open to tourists. Today, safety conditions are once again in place, so that the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs no longer formally advises against the destination. This new-found safety is largely reinforced by the overall vigilance of the entire population of the Adrar region, who show total benevolence to tourism and thus guarantee the best possible safety for visitors. 

Mauritania is above all a welcoming, hospitable, open-minded and tolerant country, and our partner Mohamed Ould Boubacar, a respected and experienced guide in the Adrar region, is the best example of this. His perfect knowledge of the region, its customs and the people he meets is the best guarantee of a successful stay.

Your luggage will be transported each day from stage to stage, and you will only need to carry the minimum necessary for the day's stage. 

The evening meal will be prepared by our Mauritanian cooks and eaten together to promote these special moments of conviviality. Likewise, breakfast will be served to participants in the morning before the start of each stage.
